Our pride and passion; Cask Beer! We have an ever rotating range of casks coming through at The Wight Bear with different styles and different breweries always up on our wall. Keep an eye on our socials we’ll post our latest drops!

We have 3 permanent listings on our Keg Wall;

  • Our house cider on Tap #1 BumbleBee Craft Cider - 4.5% Medium-dry, lightly sparkling - ‘Robust and complex tannic structure, rolling from sweet to dry with a light finish and scrumptious sun-baked West Country aroma. Refreshingly moreish. A real crowd pleaser.’

  • Our house pale ale on Tap #2 Siren Craft - Lumina - 4.2% GF Session IPA - ‘Lumina is our shining light, glowing with juicy tropical fruit notes. Hoppy aromas of mango and pineapple guide you towards explosive flavour, flashes of delicate citrus highlights and refreshing balanced bitterness.’

  • Our house lager on Tap #10 Stiegl - Goldbräu - 4.9% Austrian Lager - ‘The liquid gold of Salzburg, stylish, characteristic golden-blonde colour and impressive foam head. The full-bodied and finely-malted Goldbräu is brewed with the highest quality local ingredients and offers a delightfully fresh yet well-rounded flavour.

  • Purbeck Cider Co. - Joe’s Farmhouse - 5.6% Authentic Dry Cider - ‘An authentic dry cider with a spiced apple aroma, Joe’s Farmhouse Dry packs a bold rounded flavour with subtle hints of lemon zest.’

  • Thistly Cross Cider - Whisky Cask Cider - 6.7% Barrel-Aged Cider - ‘The first release from our barrel-aged range; matured in Whisky Casks from Glen Moray Distillery. The perfect marriage between Scottish methods and Scotland’s favourite craft cider. We use single malt scotch whisky casks to give our cider it’s warming notes of oak, vanilla and honey.’

  • Farmer Jim’s - Rhubarb Bob - 4% Rhubarb Infused Cider - ‘Tart Rhubarb infused with a swirl of vanilla for a refreshing long drink.’
